Rekha is Chief Programmes Officer at Right to Succeed, a place-based change organisation that works alongside communities in the bottom 10% of the Indices of Multiple Deprivation. Delivering programmes that improve outcomes and opportunities for children and young people through social and educational interventions.
Before joining Right to Succeed, Rekha gained a wealth of experience with over 30 years working in charity and public sector organisations including local authorities, social housing, youth work and social care.
A strategic leader, and MBA holder, Rekha’s expertise includes management, training and youth work. She is a Master Practitioner in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) with training in psycho-therapy practice, and is an established Leadership and Personal Development Coach.
Her passionate and holistic approach to strategy and social equality has led to senior leadership positions including CEO roles of family, community, homeless organisations; and holding governance positions in multiple non-profits and community interest CIC’s across education, greener communities and housing, such as her current role as Non Executive Director within the care sector since 2019.
