Consultancy

Does your organisation work to tackle poverty, or support people living in poverty?
We can support you in a range of ways to develop and strengthen your work.
How can Resolve Poverty support your organisation?
We can work with you to:
- Create an anti-poverty strategy for your locality or region, and support the implementation.
- Develop tools for you to use when supporting people in poverty, and train staff to use them. This includes our
- Money Advice Referral Tool (MART).
- Support your organisation’s adoption and implementation of the socio-economic duty. Effective implementation of the duty means organisations can better respond to the needs of low-income residents and service users.
- Create a bespoke support offer for your organisation, tailored to your needs.
How has Resolve Poverty helped other organisations?
Examples of our work include:
- Commissioned by Greater Manchester (GM) NHS to undertake two complementary projects looking at the role of the health and care system in tackling poverty.
- Working with Manchester, Salford and Trafford councils to develop local anti-poverty strategies.
- Commissioned work on behalf of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) on the strategic and policy role in tacking poverty.
- Influencing Tameside, Hartlepool, Salford and Southwark councils and North-of-Tyne Combined Authority’s adoption and implementation of the socio-economic duty.
“I found the training really useful. This will have a real impact on the work we deliver and being able to understand our neighbourhoods.”
