Resolve Poverty is looking for a skilled and creative Communications Officer to deliver and coordinate all aspects of our communications activity.
Sitting within our policy and research team, this role will be responsible for delivering our regular newsletters and bulletins, managing our website and social media channels, and ensuring our brand remains consistent, engaging, and up-to-date across all platforms. This role will also support the promotion of our events, training and consultancy offers, working closely with our development team and helping us to grow our reach and impact.
Reporting to the Head of Policy and Research, you will play a crucial role in delivering against our strategic priorities:
- Maximising the financial resources available to households
- Supporting the development of effective strategic responses to poverty
- Equipping stakeholders with the knowledge and tools they need to tackle poverty.
Job details
- Salary range:  £28,000 to £32,000.
- Hours: Five days per week (35 hours).
- Contract length: Three years.
- Location: Combination of homeworking and office based. There is an expectation that you will work two days per week from our offices in central Manchester.
- Responsible to:Â Head of Policy and Research.
- Annual leave: 25 days. An additional leave day is provided for each full calendar year worked up to a maximum of 29 days.
- Probationary period: Four months.
- Closing date: 5pm on Monday 28 July.
